Participating in Life

If you want to grow spiritually you can,t be hiding away in a protected space all day, you need to get out there and experience life, taste it and learn from it.

Even your bad experiences end up being great eye openers to what you accept and what you don, t accept in your life. Every feeling and reaction truly defines who you are to yourself first and then to the rest of the world. I don,t see how you can meditate efficiently on the worlds problems without understanding it from experience, how you can explain sexuality and what to do with it without having any experience, or how you can understand poverty while hiding away in a plush comfortable castle or convent. Or that any spiritual groups that invalidate and reject the female and certain people, are able to understand the whole of which God consists.

Go out there and participate. Shine your light on the world.

When you are in need of tranquility and purity, withdraw from the chaos into your space, like I do in my “home temple” with my temple dog, in my simple but comfortable place of safety and peace of mind.
